Icelandic Adventure

2 Sep

I am packing my bags for another excursion into the world!

This month I am visiting Rekjavik for a few days with my good friend and fellow crafter/blogger, Louisa.

Any tips, readers? Recommendations for craft shops, exhibitions, and other miscellaneous awesomeness would be much appreciated :)

I’m probably too late to tell you this but there are two brilliant quilting shops in Rekjavik, they’re in an out of town shopping centre (more like an industrial estate) a short bus ride from the centre. One is called Virka and the other which I can’t remember is very close to it.
I went to see the Northern lights – excellent but no guarantee you’ll see them, Blue Lagoon – excellent!
    Hope that helps.
